DLSP 0112 is a totally unique Marbella beachside residence, with indoor pool and first-line sea views. Stylishly refurbished and decorated, this 5-bedroom, 1,500 sq. m, sea-front property is absolutely marvelous, even by Marbella's high-end standards.
The owner transformed this beachside mansion into an elegant 5* Mediterranean Spanish style villa, with grand cathedral ceilings, majestic stone fireplaces, and art and antiques collection around every corner.
From the front entrance, with its Roman courtyard, burbling water features and 400-year-old olive trees, it’s obvious that villa is a perfect blend of luxury, class and style. Even so, it’s impossible to imagine the luxury that lies beyond the impressive, antique Spanish front door. Recently featured in the prestigious Swedish Connoisseur Magazine, the interior welcomes you with old, polished stone floors, mood lighting, curated antiques, and hand-picked, custom-made details.
Everything about property’s private grounds demands attention: a 15-metre, outdoor infinity pool with its vast terrace where palm trees sway in the breeze; well-kept gardens combining Roman grandeur and Balinese zen; outdoor lounge custom designed and richly upholstered. And yet, when you step outside the villa the view captures your sight completely: the Mediterranean Sea with its white-capped waves pointing the way to a distant Morocco.
There are lots of spaces and ways to admire this vista. Soak up the sun in a plush lounger or relax on the shaded patio; four separate seating and dining areas follow the path of sun and shade throughout the day. Dive into the refreshing depths of your private saltwater pool, its infinity edge seemingly blending with the sea below. Take a walk through quiet landscaped gardens, where water features make for a stylish contemporary nod to ancient Roman aqueducts, their wash-bowl fountains alive with koi and water lilies.
A full summer kitchen supplies you with drinks and snacks, and at dusk, your concierge can organise a private chef to prepare your dinner to the sound of gentle waves lapping at the sand. Admire the sunset in the lounge area to one end of the pool, then retire to the living room for drinks.
The main living area offers a real sense of grandeur, thanks to its cathedral-like, vaulted ceiling, Bechstein piano, masterworks of art and amazing décor. Rose-coloured chairs surround a huge stone fireplace. The second living space is cosy with soft leather chairs, a second stone fireplace, a large TV and surround sound system. Finally, the heads of the family can also enjoy their own private living area within the master suite, which occupies one whole wing of the villa’s first level.
Villa boasts as many dining options as it does bedrooms. Facing the Mediterranean, the formal winter dining room is a gorgeous space decorated in a palette of chocolate and cream, with an antique table, massive hearth and Andalusian candelabra. The fireplace divides the modern, fully fitted kitchen from the villa’s casual dining space.
The outdoor, 15-metre saltwater infinity pool enjoys a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, while the indoor pool was also cleverly installed on the top level to offer the fantastic sea landscape. The sunbeds surround the indoor pool, and a large daybed is ideal for relaxing with a good book and a cup of tea. The adjacent sun terrace faces the beach and palms below. Downstairs, the basement is an entertainment heart of the house, decorated with 1940s jazz club art and featuring a large slate-bed snooker table, cinema lounge, and climate-controlled wine cave with bar. The home spa includes a gym, treatment room, sauna, and Turkish bath, adjacent to the indoor pool with a jet stream.
